Flowers
Our very first bunch was a mix of Astrantia, white Achillea and Sweet William – borne out of a wish to liven up a rather monochromatic crop of Sweet William. Since then we have tried all sorts of annuals, biennials, perennials and bulbs so our ‘posies’ are ever changing from year to year and throughout the seasons. ‘Garden Pinks’ with their wonderful fragrance form the basis of many of our bunches along with Asters, Sunflowers in the summer moving onto the autumnal scent of Chrysanthemums. For the ‘fillers’ we use all sorts! Dill, Ammi, Daucus, Statice, Bupleurum, Sweet William, Michaelmas Daisies, Solidago, Feverfew, Veronica, Campanula… the list goes on and on!
